A. Maina Initiative Foundation (AMIF) was established with the primary aims to transforming lives, empowering community and uplift the educational status in Gamawa Local Government of Bauchi State.

The Foundation was designed to provide basic education to less privileged children which can permanently transformed any society from the Illiteracy state to a literacy state which undoubtedly will squandered unemployment, insecurity, terrorism and lots more…

The President/Founder, A. Maina Initiative Foundation, Alh Sani Alh Maina stated that there is an adage which says “When you have a plan for one year plant maize, when you have a plan for ten years plant tree but when you have a plan for for life time educates children”.

“My humble self and the Central Working Committee are ready to receive any observations, advices and corrections as a collective responsibility for all community members within Gamawa Local Government” he said.

On the 8th of August, 2021, the A. Maina Foundation made an incredible impact on the lives of 55 students from the 11 wards of Gamawa Local Government. The foundation stepped forward and paid the school fees for these deserving students pursuing Diploma and NCE (Nigerian Certificate in Education) programs. By alleviating the financial burden of education, the foundation has not only enabled these students to continue their studies but has also demonstrated its commitment to fostering educational opportunities for all.

Recognizing the importance of a strong foundation in education, the A. Maina Foundation has extended its support to students at the secondary level as well. On the 1st of May, 2021, the foundation admitted 45 pupils into secondary school, providing them with the opportunity to access quality education. This initiative has undoubtedly opened new doors for these students, enabling them to expand their horizons, acquire knowledge, and develop essential skills for their future endeavors.
