KYGF educates Azare students on menstrual hygiene, donates sanitary pads

Katagum Younger Generation Forum KYGF in its unprecedented Sanitation Visits on Menstrual Hygiene donated sanitary pads to Students of two upper basics in Azare metropolis of Bauchi State.

The Forum’s Sanitation Visit on Menstrual Hygiene was to enlighten female students of Government Junior Secondary School Nassarawa Azare and Yagana Lawal Upper Basic, Azare on menstrual hygiene.

The students numbering about 500 were also lectured on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle during and after menstruation without avoiding or missing classes while some of the facilitators shared their menstrual experiences.

The visit started from Government Junior Secondary School Nassarawa where the forum warmly received and welcome by the school management.

The principal appreciated the efforts of the Forum and assure his support for them. He also advised and suggested ways to develop the forum and also inclusion of male students in the Sanitation.

He also prayed for for success, protection and Unity among the members.

At Yagana Lawal Upper Basic, the Forum also warmly received and welcomed by the school management

The principal also appreciated the efforts of Forum towards uplifting the Younger Generation and hammer on the importance of the sensitisation.

He also assured and granted his utmost support and readiness to welcome the Forum in his school any time.
