Bauchi Gov Reiterates His Pladge To Support Wikki Tourists FC
Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed has pledged his support for the government-owned football team, Wikki Tourists FC.
He revealed this to the Interim Management Committee of the club and other Ministry of Youth and Sports agencies during a felicitatory visit from Honorable Commissioner Mohammed Salis Gamawa, who led the group in celebrating his recent victory in the reelection to the Supreme Court.
He declared that Wikki Tourists FC has remained, and will continue to be, one of his top priorities.
The governor pledged to see to it that the club was promoted back to the premier league and praised the team’s performance in the Nigeria National League thus far.
The purpose of the visit, according to Mohammed Salis Gamawa, Commissioner of Youths and Sports, was to congratulate the governor on his recent victory at the Supreme Court.
Salis stated that his Ministry would always be appreciative of the Governor’s steadfast backing of its initiatives, which he guaranteed would uphold the trust placed in them.
In a brief statement, Umar Saidu, a member of the Interim Management Committee, thanked the governor for prioritizing Wikki Tourists FC.
While congratulating the Governor on his recent victory at the Supreme Court, team captain Mohammed Idris Guda promised the players that they would work even harder until the goal was accomplished.
The management committee, technical crew, players, and supporters club are among the delegation members attending the visit.
