In a significant ceremony held today at the Gadau Main Campus, Sa’adu Zungur University Bauchi inaugurated its new Alumni Executive Committee.
The event took place in the Faculty of Science Conference Hall, drawing a notable gathering of university officials and alumni.
Prof. Bala Maaji, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) Academic, represented the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Fatima Tahir, at the ceremony. Also present were Prof. Aminu Kura, DVC Administration, and Prof. Lukman Alawi, Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies.
The event was further graced by the University Alumni Relations Officer, Aminu Tukur, affectionately known as Baba, who played a key role in organizing the proceedings.
The newly inaugurated executives expressed their commitment to fostering stronger ties between the alumni and the university.
Following the ceremony, the new alumni leadership team met with various university staff officers for formal introductions and to explore opportunities for collaboration.
