Malori/Buskuri Flood: Bauchi Gov Calls FG’s Intervention

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has appealed to the federal government for urgent intervention after a flood destroyed the highway bridge connecting the Malori and Buskuri communities.

The Governor made this call during a visit to the affected area, emphasizing the critical need for swift action to restore the damaged infrastructure.

During his visit, Governor Mohammed reiterated his administration’s commitment to supporting the community, pledging that the state government would also play a role in easing the transportation challenges exacerbated by the disaster. He assured residents that additional developmental projects aimed at boosting economic growth in Bauchi State are in the pipeline.

The Governor also called on the people of Bauchi to continue backing his administration, promising that more dividends of democracy would be delivered soon.
