Emir of Katagum Visits Buskuri Town Following Devastating Flood

His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Umar Farouk II, OON, the Emir of Katagum, visited Buskuri town in Madara District, Katagum Local Government Area, earlier today to offer his condolences and support to the community affected by a severe flood. The disaster has notably cut off the Azare-Potiskum Federal highway, a critical route for the region.

Accompanying the Emir was the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Katagum Local Government Area, Hon. Musa Azare, along with other dignitaries, who joined in expressing solidarity with the residents.

The Emir’s visit underscores the importance of community support and swift action in response to the calamity.

Musa Azare, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of Katagum Local Government Area, also acknowledged the visit, extending his prayers for the safety and well-being of the people affected by the flood.
