Niger Delta Women Urges Tinubu to Reward Dr Halimat with Political Appointment

Niger Delta Women under the aegis of Niger Delta Rural Women Development Front (NDRWDF) has passionately appealed to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to reward Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho with political appointment, saying that the President needs her expertise, competence, ingenuity and patriotic disposition to add value to his administration.

The women group made the appeal recently in a statement jointly signed by its national spokesperson, and secretary, Comrade Tamarapreye Nemi, and Comrade (Mrs) Ochuko F. Mercy.

NDRWDF described Dr. Halimat Tejuosho as a philanthropist of outstanding pedigree and a humanist of noble acclaim, adding that her programmes and projects aimed at improving the wellbeing of less privileged Nigerians dot the nook and cranny of the country.

NDRWDF noted that Dr. Tejuosho’s passion for humanity is a rare virtue that underscores her passion and unwavering commitment to ameliorate the suffering of indigent Nigerians, especially widows, orphans, unemployed youths and People With Disabilities (PWDs) through sustained and laudable poverty alleviation programmes.

The women group called on President Bola Tinubu to heed its request and give Dr. Halimat Tejuosho an opportunity to deplore her honed expertise, experience, innovation and patriotism to drive the change that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda seeks to achieve.

They emphasized Dr. Halimat Tejuosho’s unfettered love for humanity, stating that if given the privilege to serve the nation, she would make huge impact in improving the lives of Nigerians, adding that President Bola Tinubu would earn the accolade of the good people of Nigeria and the international community if he would do the needful and give Dr. Tejousho an opportunity to bring her wealth of knowledge, experience and benevolent candour to serve in his government and improve the socioeconomic wellbeing of Nigerians.

The women group reiterated, “The appointment of Dr. Tejuosho into political office will be a significant step by President Tinubu towards promoting inclusivity in government and serving the diverse interests and needs of the Nigerian populace.”
