Dr. Halimat Visits Maiduguri, Extends Humanitarian Aid to Flood Victims

Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, the esteemed founder of the Queen Adenike Tejuosho Foundation, has extended her humanitarian efforts to the people of Borno State following the recent devastating floods.

During her visit to Maiduguri, she paid a courtesy visit to the Shehu and the Queen of Borno, offering her heartfelt condolences over the disaster that has severely impacted the region.

Dr. Tejuosho also took direct action to support those affected by the flood. She visited one of the hardest-hit areas, 505 Mina Road, where many vulnerable residents have been left displaced and in need of assistance.

In a significant gesture of compassion, Dr. Tejuosho distributed cash relief to 100 individuals, each receiving an envelope containing 10,000 Naira to help them cope with the aftermath of the disaster.

Speaking on her visit, Dr. Tejuosho reaffirmed her foundation’s commitment to providing relief to the most vulnerable in society.

“We cannot ignore the pain and suffering of those affected by this disaster. This assistance is just a small step toward helping the victims rebuild their lives,” she stated.

The flood, which has wreaked havoc in various parts of Borno State, left many homes submerged and livelihoods destroyed.

Residents expressed their gratitude for the support. “This assistance came at the right time, and it will help us greatly as we try to recover from the damage the flood has caused,” one recipient said.
