Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, the founder of the Queen Adenike Tejuosho Foundation and a prominent humanitarian, is once again extending her support to Nigeria’s most vulnerable populations.
Following her recent initiative that empowered 100 vulnerable Nigerians with ₦20,000 each, Dr. Tejuosho is now turning her attention to the education sector with the launch of a new scholarship program.
The scholarship is aimed at providing financial support to out-of-school vulnerable Nigerians, including persons with disabilities (PWDs), in a bid to promote educational access and equity.
This initiative is closely aligned with President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, which seeks to uplift the common man and ensure that no Nigerian is left behind.
Dr. Tejuosho, who is widely recognized for her tireless advocacy for PWDs, internally displaced persons (IDPs), widows, and other marginalized groups, believes that education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty.
“Empowering individuals through education is not just about giving them knowledge; it’s about giving them hope, dignity, and the means to build a better future,” she said in a statement.
The Queen Adenike Tejuosho Foundation has long been a pillar of support for Nigeria’s most disadvantaged communities. Through various initiatives, the foundation has provided essential resources and opportunities to those who need them the most.
This latest scholarship program is expected to have a significant impact, enabling many vulnerable individuals to pursue their educational goals and contribute meaningfully to society.
The announcement of the scholarship program has been met with widespread praise from community leaders and beneficiaries alike, who see it as a critical step towards achieving greater social equity in Nigeria.
As Dr. Tejuosho continues her humanitarian work, her efforts serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of giving back and supporting those who are often overlooked. The Queen Adenike Tejuosho Foundation remains dedicated to its mission of uplifting Nigeria’s vulnerable populations, ensuring that they have the tools and opportunities needed to thrive.
