The Bauchi State Government has regrets to inform the general public that the 10th North East Governors’ Forum Meeting (NEGF), the 15th North East Joint Domestic Trade Fair, and the official commissioning of the New Government House, Bauchi earlier scheduled for May 4 to 6 have been postponed.
A statement issued by the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Muktar Gidado, to journalists yesterday in Bauchi, said other activities postponed included the ground breaking ceremony of the Novel Bauchi flyover and inauguration of the Accelerated Senior Secondary School Education Programme originally scheduled for the same period.
According to him, the development was as a result of a number of unavoidable circumstances beyond control. It has therefore become necessary to reschedule these important events to ensure the smooth and successful execution of each of the event.
