Don’t despise children with disability, Bauchi First Lady urges parents

The wife of the Bauchi State Governor Aisha Bala Mohammed has urges the parents of children with disability not to despise them as they could also attain their full potentials if properly supported.

Aisha gave this advice on Tuesday when she joined students with disablity to commissions renovated Special Education Centre in Yelwan Tudu Bauchi.

According to her any child you have is a blessing from God. Places like this are to cater for them and give them the right chance to excel and contribute their quota to society.

The Secretary to the State Government Barr Ibrahim Kashim reiterated Bauchi Governor attachment and passion to cater for underserved communities more, especially for students with disabilities, and pledged to continue to identify with and give them equal opportunity to succeed, as well as restore the lost glory of the education sector in the state.

Earlier, the Chairperson Nigerian Governors Wives Forum, Prof Olufolake Abdulrazaq commended the Governor for the huge investment In the education sector as it will go a long way in addressing the challenges facing students with disabilities to attain their full potential and she called on other states In Northern countries to emulate Governor giant strides.

The School management through the Principal thanked the Government for intervention and the dignitaries for the commissions renovated school.
