Bauchi Education Commissioner Redirects Salaries to Fund Ministry Projects

The Bauchi State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Jamila Mohammed Dahiru, has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to public service by directing her salaries and allowances toward improving the Ministry of Education’s facilities and services.

Dr. Dahiru, upon assuming office, initiated a transformative project to enhance the ministry’s infrastructure. The project, funded by her ‘We Care Foundation’, included landscaping the ministry’s premises, installing a security barricade, and erecting a new, attractive signboard to make the ministry more identifiable.

On November 14, 2024, the completion of these projects was officially celebrated in a handover ceremony. Alhaji Saad Mohamed Dahiru, co-founder of the ‘We Care Foundation’, presented the renovation notes to the Ministry of Education.

The Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Ali Babayo, received the documents and praised Dr. Dahiru for her generosity and dedication. He commended the high quality of the renovations, emphasizing their long-term benefits for the ministry.
