Bauchi SUBEB Issues Queries to 57 Teachers for Misconduct in Service Delivery

Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) has invited 57 teaching staff from various Government Junior Secondary and Primary Schools for acts of gross misconduct in service.

The affected teachers are from GJSS Miri, Gumli, Haka Yafi, Tsohon Kamfani, and Guru Junior Secondary School, they are to visit the Board explain reasons for their misconduct.

The directive to invite the erring Teachers was given by the Executive Chairman of SUBEB, Alhaji Adamu Muhammad Duguri who is taking bold steps to address the issue of absenteeism among teaching staff in Bauchi State.

The EC is particularly concerned about Teachers who fail to report to work multiple times without geninue reasons, and has reaffirmed his commitment to transforming the education system, especially at the basic level.

The development is a demonstration of the resolve to checkmate the activities of teaching staff, particularly in rural communities.

Under his leadership, Adamu Duguri said that he aims to ensure that teachers took their responsibilities seriously, and that students received the quality education they deserved.

He stressed that by monitoring basic schools across the state, he hopes to identify and address the root causes of absenteeism and improve the overall learning environment.
