In his extraordinary way of celebrating public figures, the Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Dr. Abubakar Y. Suleiman (Ɗangaladiman Ningi) followed suit the move of millions of families, friends and good people of Bauchi State in congratulating Bauchi Emir, His Royal Highness, Alh. Engr. (Dr.) Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu CFR, as he clocked 54 fruitful years.
The Speaker noted that “Bauchi Emir is a leader per excellence, father to the fatherless, sturdy tent that gives shade and indeed a comforting hand that welcomes all groups of people irrespective of differences. The Emir is therefore a role model whom young and old look upon because his kindness has no bound. His efforts in pushing youth into skill acquisition is what contributed in low crime rate in the State”
“His Highness builds cordial and mutual relation to familiar faces as well as strangers. He often extends his gestures to even those behind bars, clearing fines on their heads, gives capital to those interested in business has resulted in changing their negative perceptions toward life; most of them have succumbed to living crime-free lives. Bauchi is blessed to have an Emir who changes tears to laugh amongst orphans and vulnerable children, they are given free food and drinks on every Friday”.
People in Bauchi metropolis and outskirt are testifiers of the Emir’s assistance during festivities. Many from far and near no longer bother themselves on lacking foods or clothes to wear on Sallah days as he provided to them. The philanthropic act of Bauchi Emir puts smiles in faces of the poor, flourishes courage in hearts of youth and revives hope amongst the vulnerable groups”. The Speaker revealed.
As the Bauchi Emir marks 54th years, on behalf of all Honorable Members, permanent and casual staff of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, we pray that may almighty Allah to grant you long life, more health and bountiful wisdom as well as wealth to impact on the lives of people in Bauchi and country as a whole.
