Dr. Halimat Distributes Relief Items to Flood Victims in Maiduguri
Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho has spearheaded the distribution of essential relief items to flood victims in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The distribution took place at Yerwa Primary School, where internally displaced persons (IDPs), women, and the elderly gathered to receive much-needed support.
The relief package included clothing for children, blankets, mosquito nets, rice, and Indomie noodles. Additionally, each of the 500 beneficiaries received an envelope containing ₦10,000 in cash.
Dr. Tejuosho expressed her commitment to providing assistance during these difficult times, stating that the items were part of a broader effort to help communities affected by the recent floods.
The initiative comes as a welcome relief to the flood-affected residents, who have been grappling with the challenges of displacement and loss of livelihoods.
