JUST IN: Bauchi Gov Relaxes 24hrs Curfew in Katagum LGA

Following a period of heightened security concerns, Katagum Local Government Area is witnessing a significant improvement in safety conditions. In response to this positive development, His Excellency, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, CON, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, has approved a relaxation of the previously imposed 24-hour curfew.

Effective immediately, the curfew will now be enforced from 6 pm to 6 am daily, allowing residents more freedom while still maintaining necessary precautions. This decision came after a careful review in collaboration with security agencies, which noted a gradual return of normalcy in the area.
