Bauchi Police express readiness for EID-EL KABIR celebration

The Bauchi Police, led by Commissioner Auwal Musa Muhammad, are fully prepared for the upcoming EID-EL KABIR celebrations on June 16, 2024.

They assure the citizens of Bauchi State of their commitment to ensuring safety throughout the festivities. The police will collaborate closely with other security agencies and stakeholders to maintain peace and security before, during, and after the celebrations.

To achieve this, the Commissioner has ordered the deployment of a sufficient number of officers, including both conventional police and tactical teams, equipped with necessary logistics. These officers will be stationed at praying grounds and event venues across the state. They are instructed to be respectful yet firm in carrying out their duties.

In addition to enhancing visibility policing in residential areas, major highways, and vital infrastructures, strategic officers will conduct patrols to prevent and address any potential disturbances. The Command is also prepared to respond swiftly to any attempts by troublemakers or disruptive elements.

Commissioner Auwal Musa Muhammad extends warm greetings to all Muslim faithful and citizens of Bauchi State celebrating EID-EL KABIR.

He urges everyone to cooperate with law enforcement and report any suspicious activities promptly using the provided emergency contact numbers. For complaints against officers, citizens are encouraged to contact the Public Relations Officer (PPRO) or the Complaint Response Unit (CRU).
