“Bauchi is an investment friendly state”, says Commissioner

The Bauchi State Commissioner of Natural Resources, Hon. Mohammed Maiwada Bello, has said beside abundant mineral deposit, Bauchi state is an investment friendly state.
The Commissioner made this known while receiving the delegation of The Indian Conglomerate, MAA Kudargarhi, as they explored potential investment opportunities in Bauchi State.
The visit, which commenced following initial discussions in March 2024, aimed to solidify business prospects between the Indian investors and Bauchi State.
During the engagement, Commissioner Bello highlighted Bauchi’s abundance of mineral deposits and emphasized the state’s investment-friendly environment. He pledged to provide necessary incentives to facilitate a smooth investment process.
MAA Kudargarhi expressed satisfaction with Bauchi’s hospitality and recognized the business potential within the state’s natural resources sector.
Mr. Sarat Kumar Acharya, a delegate from the conglomerate (An Indian fellow of Nuclear research center), referred to Bauchi as the prime destination for investment opportunities.
The delegation visited various sites across the state, including Tin & Columbite sites in Toro LGA, Copper & Quartz locations in Bauchi LGA, and Monazite sites in Dass LGA, respectively.
The sites inspection was complemented with the Bauchi Hon. Commissioner of Natural Resources, Managing Director of Bauchi Mining Synergy and Exploration Limited (BAMSEL) Delegates from Maa Kudargarhi, Dass LGA Caretaker Chairman Mohammad jibo senior geologist from Bauchi ministry of Natural Resources and government officials from respective LGAs visited.
