Eid-El-Fitr: How Humanitarian activist Dr. Halimat celebrates with Muslim faithful
Dr. Halimat Adenike Tejuosho a humanitarian activities, Business Tycoon and Politician joined hundred of Muslims faithful on the occasion of this year’s Eid El-Fitr Celebration.
In a goodwill message, Dr. Tejuosho congratulated the Muslims faithfull for the successful completion of the 2024 Ramadan fasting which ushered in the Eid El-Fitr Sallah Celebration and call on the need for fervent prayers for peaceful co-existance among all and sundry for the betterment of the country as whole especially as economic hardships and poverty is bitting harder on the common man, vulnerables and persons with disabilities.
Dr. Halimat has made a significant efforts marking the Eid-el-Fitr festival and bring succors to vulnerables in line with Renewed Hope Agenda of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, celebrated and bonded with the vulnerable children and all Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at IDP camp Durumi district of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja on Wednesday.
Recalls that during 2023 Christmas celebration and 2023 Eid-El-Fitr Celebration she did similar gesture with vulnerable groups.
The humanitarian activist visited the IDPs alongside her Foundation to create a social atmosphere for the vulnerable children and all persons at the IDPs camp. She described her gesture as a social bonding celebration to give them a sense of belonging and joy as they celebrate the festive period.
The events were graced and appreciated the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special needs and Equal Opportunities Hon Mohammed Abba Isa and Executive Secretary National Commission for Persons with Disabilities Dr. James Lalu .
Leadership Newspaper reports that the SSA to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities expressed his satisfaction while describing the philanthropist, Queen Halimat Adenike Tejuosho as a rare game who would turn around the affairs of the Humanitarian Ministry when she comes on board as the Minister.
The SSA, in his remarks, he said Queen Adenike Tejuosho has been recommended for the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation by several bodies, institutions, civil societies and the Nigeria Disability Communities.
Tenjuosho has pledged her continuous dedication towards uplifting and empowering the vulnerables with various interventions.
She pleaded with Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, assuring that the Tinubu administration would make greater impacts.
