The caretaker chairman of Katagum local government area, Hon. Musa Azare, joined the Emir of Katagum, Dr. Umar Farouk II, and other dignitaries, including the Former deputy governor Arc. Audu Sule Katagum, Hon. Farouk Mustapha, Dr. Mahmood Yayale Ahmad and others to observe the Two Raka’at Eid-El-Fitri at the Azare Central Eid prayer ground on Wednesday.
The prayers were led by the Chief Imam of Azare, Sheikh Muhammad Ayuba Azare who in his Khituba charged Muslim Umma to continue to imbibe the virtues of Ramadan by abstaining from all sinful acts.
The Chief Imam also enjoined Nigerians to continue to pray for Allah’s intervention over the challenges facing the country, just as he prayed for the success of government policies and programmes at all levels.
