Gov Bala, IGP commission new MOPOL base in Bauchi

The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Olukayode Egbetokun with support from the Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir commissioned facilities at the NPF MOPOL Base 10 barracks in Bauchi.

The structure was done under the corporate responsibility project of TIAMIN Rice Ltd, Bauchi.

It comprises a complete Administrative Block with offices, Quarter Guard and access road as disclosed by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the organisation, Aminu Mohammed Bauchi during the commissioning.

The IGP and the Bauchi State Governor Sen Bala Mohammed in their different remarks commended the Company for embarking on the project which will have positive impact on the people of the state.

Olukayode Egbetokun particularly commended the MD/CEO TIAMIN Rice Ltd for the support to the NPF saying that it is worthy of emulation by other well spirited individuals to continue to support the Nigerian Police force.

He assured that the structure will be put to effective use as it will serve as a motivation to the MOPOL personnel as they performed their professional and constitutional function of protection of lives and property of innocent Nigerians.

Bala Mohammed also commended the business mogul for assisting the state in that directives stressing that security is everybody’s business, therefore, the need for all hands to be on deck in order to achieve a peaceful society.

The commissioned structured included an administrative block with seven offices and a conference hall, a standard quarter guard with two offices, an armoury, a 50-meter U-shaped road, and an industrial borehole for the Police Mobile Force Base 10.
