BREAKING: Appeal Court affirms Abdu Gwalabe’s election victory
The Court of Appeal on Friday, upheld the declaration of Honourable Auwalu Audu Gwalabe as the member representing Katagum local government area of Bauchi state at Nigerian House of Representatives.
The Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal of the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Hon Ghali Maji Abdulhameed who come second as declared by INEC.
Reacting the judgement, Hon. Gwalabe expressed delight over the decision of the judiciary.
He said the court of appeal sitting in Abuja has affirmed the judgment of the National Assembly Election Petition tribunal in Bauchi”
“I am now the substantive member of representing Katagum federal constituency at House of Representatives”, Hon Gwalabe added.
The Lawmaker who dedicated the victory to Almighty Allah, assured the entire people of his consistency of his readiness work for the development of the area and their wellbeing.
According to him, his constituency is in need of more federal projects for the socio economic development of the constituents.
Hon Gwalabe while pledging to bring more developmental projects to the consistency, also assured the the youths from the local government area that more scholarships and skills acquisitions awaits them.
He appealed to stakeholders in the local government area to always offer meaningful advises that will assist in bringing more democracy dividends for the electorates.
“I am a human being, therefore, your constructive advises are needed so that together we can make Katagum great. Pray for the entire country for God to sustain us”, he appealed.
While assuring the constituents of his readiness to deliver on his mandate, Hon Gwalabe said he will never forget the goodwill of the entire people of his constituency.
