We’ll reclaim our stolen mandate at higher judicial stages ~ Sadique Baba Abubakar

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Bauchi State, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar (rtd), has instructed his lawyers to appeal against the judgment of the Election Petitions Tribunal in the state which dismissed his petition due to lack of merit.

Furthermore responding to the judgment, Abubakar said he would follow all constitutional means to reclaim “the stolen mandate” given to him at the polls.

“We have resolved to appeal against the tribunal judgment, we are now heading to the Appeal Court, and we would follow any judicial procedures in the effort to reclaim the people’s mandate,” he said.

He expressed gratitude to his supporters, saying; “We have every confidence that this stolen mandate would be reclaimed at higher judicial stages.”

The KATAGUM DAILYPOST explain that on Wednesday the tribunal has dismissed his petition challenging the election of Governor Bala Mohammed of the PDP on March 18, 2023 by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
