Bauchi, Gombe and Plateau to experience power outages for six days, says JED

Jos Electricity Distribution (JED) says its customers in Bauchi, Gombe and Plateau States will experience power outages from 28 August to 2 September 2023. Scheduled from 9am to 5pm daily.

The was contained in the statement issued to newsmen by Dr. Friday Adakole Elijah the Head, Corporate Communication of the company.

He said “The planned outage by TCN will enable its EPCC contractors safely connect gantry beam of the new APO line to the existing Lafia line-Jos 330kv double circuit”

He further stated that there will be an increase in load shedding during this period as the 330KV Jos complex will remain on supply via Kaduna-Jos 330KV line.
