The Bauchi State APC Stakeholders Forum congratulated His Excellency Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar OON the newly appointed Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This was disclosed by Hon. Shehu Ahmed Hassan (Na-Allah) former candidate member Bauchi State House of Assembly under the platform of Social Democrat Party (SDP) in the 2023 General election.
He said “In a show of solidarity and support, a delegation from the Bauchi State APC Stakeholders Forum paid a courtesy visit to Honourable Minister Tuggar at his residence today, 20th August, 2023.
“During the visit, the Forum expressed its heartfelt congratulations on his well-deserved appointment and offered prayers for a successful and impactful tenure.
He explained that the Honourable Minister, in his response, graciously received the delegation and expressed his gratitude for their kind wishes. Saying the minister acknowledged the importance of unity within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and assured the Forum of his commitment to carrying all members of the party along in his new role as the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Furthermore, Honourable Minister Tuggar emphasized his unwavering dedication to working tirelessly for the betterment of all Nigerians, irrespective of their political affiliations.
“He assured the Forum that his tenure would be marked by a strong focus on diplomacy and international relations that will ultimately benefit the nation”.
In a final note, the Honourable Minister Tuggar reiterated his allegiance to the APC and its members, pledging continued support for the party’s principles and objectives.
